The MLS has tables, chairs and even a chalkboard to work. The Maths Learning Space (MLS) is the space just outside HN 1.55. The drop-in help will run in HN 1.55 (located on the ground floor of the Hanna Neumann Building-walk in the front door, turn right and continue past the workshop rooms). While they cannot complete homework assignments for you, they can help you understand the material in your courses and work through examples that illustrate key ideas. The Help Centre is staffed by demonstrators who know their stuff. Visit in person, or via zoom, to ask questions concerning the material in any first- or second-year mathematics course.
The Maths Drop-In Help Centre will be staffed from 2 pm to 4 pm AET every weekday during term time, starting in week 2. Maths Drop-in help is now available five days of the week! To sign up as a member, simply join their page on OrgSync. They organise social activities, talks and workshops for students to get together and discuss mathematics in a relaxed atmosphere. The ANU Mathematics Society (ANUMS) is an association for maths students, and anyone with an interest in mathematics.
